장딸기 Rubus hirsutus

 

잎은 난상피침형의 작은잎 3~5장으로 된 깃꼴겹잎으로 자생하는 산딸기 종류 중 꽃과 열매가 큰 편이다. 줄기는 가늘고 샘털과 잔털, 굽은 가시가 함께 나며 꽃이 가지 끝에 1개씩 달린는 특징이 있다.

 

전남과 경남 해안, 제주도에 자생하며 일본 혼슈 이남, 타이완, 중국 중남부 등에 분포한다. 중국 이름은 '蓬蘽'(봉류)

● 장딸기 Rubus hirsutus ↘  장미목 장미과 산딸기속 여러해살이풀 

줄기는 곧추서거나 길게 옆으로 비스듬히 서고, 군데군데 가시가 있다. 뿌리가 길게 옆으로 뻗으며 군데군데에서 새싹이 나온다.잎은 어긋나기하며 깃모양겹잎이고 소엽은 3~5개이며, 달걀모양이다. 피침형 예첨두이고 3~6cm× 1.5~3cm로 둔저이며 양면에 털이있다. 가장자리에 결각상 톱니가 있으며 잎자루 길며, 침상의 턱잎이 있다.

꽃은 지름 3~4cm로 백색이고 양성꽃으로 5~6월에 1개씩 개화한다. 꽃받침조각은 긴 피침형이고 끝이 꼬리처럼 길게 뾰족하다. 양면에 짧은 털이 밀생하며 꽃잎 5개이고 수평의 거꿀달걀상 타원형이다. 꽃받침과 길이가 거의 같다. 열매는 둥글고 붉은색이며 7~8월에 성숙한다.  <국립생물자원관 한반도의생물다양성 국가생물종지식정보시스템>

 

 

 

 

○ 뿌리와 잎을 '자파'라 하며 약용한다. 꽃잎에는 항염과 안구 건조 완화 효과가 있는 아스트라갈린(astragalin), 항균·항산화·항염증 및 항암 효과가 있는 트리폴린(trifolin)이 함유되어 있다. 청열(淸熱), 해독의 효능이 있다. 더위로 인한 토사, 풍화두통(風火頭痛), 감기, 황달을 치료한다.

 

○ 줄기와 잎에 털이 없는 것을 제주장딸기(f. argyi), 완도에 자생하며 열매가 황색으로 익는 것을 노란장딸기(var. xanthocarpus)라 하였으나 장딸기에 통합되었다.
