거문딸기 Rubus trifidus

 

가시 없는 줄기나 손바닥 모양인 잎, 큰 꽃 모양 등이 통영에 자생하는 섬딸기(R. ribisoideus)와 매우 닮았다. 그러나 섬딸기의 화서는 하나의 꽃이 피는 단정화서이고(드물게 2개) 꽃은 아래로 피는 데 비해, 거문딸기는 산방화서로 개화시 위를 향해 피는 점으로 뚜렷이 구별된다고 한다.

 

거문도에 나서 거문딸기라 하며 '꾸지딸기'라고도 한다. 부산, 제주에 나며 일본에도 분포한다.

● 거문딸기 Rubus trifidus | Geomun raspberry ↘  목련강 장미목 장미과 산딸기속 관목 

줄기 높이가 2m에 달하고 가시가 없으며 가지는 굵고 일년생가지에 샘털이 있다. 잎은 삼각상 달걀모양이며 길이 5~7cm, 폭 4~6cm로서 양면 또는 맥 위에 짧은 털이 있고 예두 또는 짧은 예첨두이며 심장저 또는 절저이고 3~5중열(中裂) 또는 천열(淺裂)되며 불규칙한 톱니가 드문드문 있다. 엽병에 샘털이 있다.

꽃은 백색으로 새가지에 1개씩 달리는데 6월에 핀다. 화경에 샘털이 있고 꽃자루는 길이 1~2cm로서 꽃받침과 더불어 비로드같은 털이 밀생한다. 꽃받침은 난상 긴 타원형으로서 첨두이며 안쪽에 짧은 털이 밀생하고 꽃잎은 난상 원형이며 백색이고 길이와 폭이 각각 15mm로서 옆으로 퍼진다. 열매는 취합과로 길이 0.2mm의 둥근 모양이며 분과에 털이 약간 있고 7월에 홍황색으로 익는데, 종자에 무늬가 있다.  <국가생물종지식정보시스템>

 

 

 

 

○ 어린 가지와 잎자루 및 꽃자루에 샘털이 있는 점으로 섬딸기와 구별되는 것으로 알려져 왔으나 섬딸기에도 샘털이 있으므로 샘털 유무가 식별 형질로 적절치 않다고 국생정에 기록하고 있다.

• 거제딸기(Rubus tozawae) : 잎자루에 잔털과 잔 가시가 있으며, 꽃받침조각이 짧다. 거문도와 거제도 자생.

• 맥도딸기(Rubus tozawae var. longisepalus) : 섬딸기에 비해 줄기에 가시가 있고 산딸기에 비해 꽃이 잎겨드랑이에 1개씩 달리고 열매는 황색으로 익는다. 엽병이 길며 원형에 가깝고 꽃받침열편은 피침형이다. 전남 신안 맥도에 자생. 섬딸기에 통합됨
