<백두산> 함경딸기 Rubus arcticus

 

산딸기속으로 초본성이며 3개의 소엽으로 구성된 잎의 특징으로 뚜렷이 구분되는 분류군이다. 장미색 꽃잎이 아름답고 열매는 짙은 자주색으로 익고 향기가 있으며 식용한다. '두메딸기', '천도딸기', '벌딸기'라고도 한다.

 

함경도 고산지대의 저습지에 난다. 북반구 북부지역(중국 만주, 러시아 시베리아, 몽골, 북부 스칸디나비아 및 핀란드, 폴란드, 벨로루시, 에스토니아, 리투아니아, 캐나다, 미국 북부 지역 등)에 널리 분포한다.

● 함경딸기 Rubus arcticus | Arctic raspberry, Arctic bramble, Nagoonberry, nectarberry  ↘  목련강 장미목 장미과 산딸기속 초본성 반관목 

줄기에 가시가 없고, 짧은 털만 퍼져 난다. 탁엽은 타원형 또는 넓은 타원형으로서 톱니가 없으며 기부가 엽병에 붙어 있다. 잎은 3출복엽으로 2개의 소엽으로 구성되고, 정소엽은 능형 또는 난상 능형이며 측소엽은 찌그러진 달걀 모양이거나 2개로 갈라지고 양면에 짧은 털이 있다.

꽃은 줄기 끝에서 1개씩 피며 지름 2~3㎝이고 꽃받침 조각은 좁은 피침형으로서 끝이 뾰족하며 겉에 견모가 있으나 속에는 털이 없다. 꽃잎은 장미색이고 거꿀피침 모양이며 원두이다. 7월에 개화 열매는 짙은 자주색으로 익으며 둥근 모양이고 향기가 난다. 취과. <국가생물종지식정보시스템>

 

 

 

 

○ 함경딸기의 열매는 매우 맛있으며, 잼과 리큐어를 만들거나 차에 풍미를 더하는 등 여러 용도로 사용된다. 러시아어 이름 '크냐제니카'는 '왕자의 열매'를 의미하는 것으로 그 맛을 짐작할 수 있다.
