갯씀바귀 Ixeris repens

 

국화과 벌씀바귀속 여러해살이풀로 줄기는 땅속에서 옆으로 길게 벋는다. 잎은 어긋나며 손바닥 모양으로 가장자리가 3-5갈래로 깊게 갈라진다.

 

울릉도를 제외한 전국 바닷가 모래땅에 자라며 조류에 의해 종자가 퍼진다. 캄차카에서 베트남까지 동아시아 전역에 분포한다.

근경이 옆으로 길게 자라면서 잎이 달린다. 잎은 어긋나기하고 긴 엽병이 땅속에서 나오며 삼각상 또는 오각상 심장형이고 길이와 지름이 각각 3~5㎝로서 장상으로 3~5개씩 깊게 또는 중앙까지 갈라지거나 3개로 완전히 갈라지며 열편은 넓은 타원형이고 원두이며 다시 2~3개로 얕게 갈라지거나 희미한 치아 모양 톱니가 있다.

꽃은 6~7월에 화경이 근생엽에서 액생하여 높이가 3~15㎝에 달하고 가지가 갈라져서 2~5개의 꽃이 달리며 잎이 없으나 가장 밑에 있는 포는 다소 잎같고 머리모양꽃차례는 지름 약 3㎝이다. 총포는 길이 11~14㎜이며 안쪽 포는 6~8개이다. 수과는 길이 5㎜ 정도이며 관모는 길이 5~6㎜이고 백색이다.  <국가생물종지식정보시스템>
