산씀바귀 Lactuca raddeana

 

두메고들빼기와 유사한 형태이나 두메고들빼기 줄기잎 밑부분이 줄기를 감싸는 데 비하여 잎밑이 좁아져 줄기에 이어지며 설상화는 15개 정도인 두메고들빼기에 비해 8개 정도로 적다. 중국 이름은 '毛脉翅果菊'(모맥시과국)

 

전국 산지 숲 가장자리에 자생하며 베트남 북부, 타이완, 러시아 시베리아, 일본, 중국 동남부-동북부 등에 분포한다.

● 산씀바귀 Lactuca raddeana  ↘  목련강 국화목 국화과 왕고들빼기속(상추속) 두해살이풀 

줄기는 곧게 자라며, 높이 60~150cm, 털이 거의 없다. 뿌리잎은 꽃이 필 때 시든다. 줄기잎은 어긋나며, 타원형 또는 마름모형, 길이 25~30cm, 폭 10~12cm, 끝은 뾰족하고 밑은 쐐기 모양으로 흘러내려 좁은 날개가 된다. 줄기 아래에 달리는 잎은 깃꼴로 거의 갈라진다. 줄기 윗부분의 잎은 갈라지지 않는다. 잎 앞면은 진한 녹색이고 털이 거의 없으며, 뒷면은 연한 녹색으로 잎맥에만 털이 있다.

꽃은 7~10월에 피는데 머리모양꽃이 줄기 끝에서 원추꽃차례를 이루어 달린다. 머리모양꽃은 노란색, 혀 모양의 양성꽃으로 되고 꽃부리의 끝은 5갈래로 얕게 갈라진다. 모인꽃싸개는 길이 10mm 정도, 모인꽃싸개 조각은 3열로 배열한다. 열매는 수과, 납작한 타원형, 한쪽에 4~5개의 능선이 있다. 우산털은 흰색이다.  <국립생물자원관 한반도의생물다양성>

 

 

 

 

○ 산씀바귀 뿌리는 감기, 기침, 폐결핵, 뱀독에 쓰고 전초를 풍습관절염, 옹종창양, 뱀독에 사용한다.
