그늘송이풀 Pedicularis resupinata var. umbrosa

 

그늘송이풀은 송이풀의 변종(var. umbrosa)이다.

 

송이풀과 다른 점이 무엇인지 알기 어려운데 국생정 기재문에서 줄기에 가지를 많이 친다는 점 정도만 눈에 띄는 특징이다. 변종명 'umbrosa'는 '그늘진' 또는 '그늘을 이루는'이라는 뜻이니 반그늘성인 송이풀에 비해 더 그늘인 숲에서 산다는 의미가 들어 있는 듯하다.

● 그늘송이풀 Pedicularis resupinata var. umbrosa  ↘  현삼목 현삼과 송이풀속의 여러해살이풀

줄기는 곧게 서고 가지를 많이 친다. 잎은 마주나고 잎자루가 있으며 긴 달걀 모양 또는 긴 타원형으로 끝이 뾰족하고 깊게 패인 겹톱니가 있다.

7∼8월에 가지 끝에 모여 나는 잎겨드랑이에 홍자색 꽃이 머리 모양으로 피며 밑부분에 흰 털이 난다. 화관은 대롱 모양의 입술꼴이다. 대롱 부위는 꽃받침에서 길게 나오며 윗입술꽃잎은 3개로 갈래진다. 열매는 삭과로서 긴 타원형으로 끝이 뾰족하고 위쪽 끝에서 터진다.
