털제비꽃 Viola phalacrocarpa

 

고향의 묵은 뽕밭에 들렀다 그늘진 산언덕에 무리를 이룬 털제비꽃을 만난다. 양지를 좋아하는 제비꽃인데 음지에서 자란 모습이 털이 없어진 흰털제비꽃 느낌이다.

털제비꽃은 예전 '이시도야제비꽃'이라 불리기도 했던 제비꽃이다. 왜제비꽃(V. japonica)에 비해 전체에 짧은 퍼진 털이 있고 잎은 난형이며 삼각형으로 되지 않는다. 전체에 전혀 털이 없는 것을 민둥제비꽃(for. glaberrima)이라 한다.

산지나 구릉지의 양지에 난다. 우리나라와 중국, 일본 등 동아시아에 분포한다.

● 털제비꽃 Viola phalacrocarpa  ↘  제비꽃목 제비꽃과 제비꽃속 여러해살이풀

뿌리줄기는 짧다. 줄기는 없다. 잎은 난형, 길이 1-3cm, 폭 0.5-2.5cm, 열매가 익을 때 길이 8cm까지 자라며, 양면에 짧은 털이 많으며. 가장자리에 물결 모양의 톱니가 있다. 잎자루는 3-10cm, 나중에 20cm까지 자란다.

꽃은 4-5월에 길이 5-10cm의 꽃줄기에 1개씩 달리며, 진한 보라색, 꽃줄기에 털이 있다. 꽃받침잎은 넓은 피침형, 길이 5-7mm이다. 꽃잎은 길이 10-13mm, 곁꽃잎의 아래에 털이 있다. 거(距)는 길이 6-8mm이다. 열매는 삭과, 길이 8-12mm이다. <국립생물자원관 생물다양성정보>
